Pasifika Showdown was created to showcase the talent emerging from across the Pacific Islands and give athletes a platform to represent where they come from. From grassroots youth through to experienced competitors, the event brings together nations, communities and supporters from across Oceania through Muaythai.
At its core, Muaythai reflects many of the values shared throughout the Pacific: family, identity, pride and community. Through the support of the Oceania Muaythai Federation (OMF) and promoter Jason Suttie, Pasifika Showdown aims to create pathways and opportunities for the next generation while proudly raising the profile of Pacific athletes on a larger stage.

Pasifika Showdown is brought together by Jason "Psycho" Suttie, one of New Zealand's most respected Muaythai and kickboxing figures. A six-time Muay Thai World Champion, Jason has spent decades building fighters, creating opportunities and helping shape combat sports in Aotearoa and across the Pacific.
At Pasifika Showdown, Jason has personally assembled the fight card, bringing together the region's best talent. He will be watching closely throughout the night, identifying standout athletes who may earn opportunities on future King in the Ring events—our platform for emerging Pacific champions.
